HAPevolve Partners with AblePay Health in offering hospitals and health systems the next generation in patient engagement platforms

AblePay Health has joined HAPevolve, a subsidiary of The Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP.)  This newest Industry partner is bridging the payment gap for medical providers and their patients. Using their proprietary mix of savings, flexibility, advocacy, and convenience, AblePay Health takes an innovative, highly effective, yet surprisingly simple approach to assisting with the patient's responsibility after insurance.

As the patient responsibility for the cost of care continues to rise, an increased financial stress is being placed on today's healthcare consumers, ultimately impacting providers' revenue and cash flow.

AblePay was founded in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, not by a bank or tech company, but by health system executives who recognized a better way to increase revenues for providers while improving the patient experience.

Since 2017, AblePay has worked with medical providers and their patients across the commonwealth and beyond. HAP members currently accepting AblePay include the St. Luke's University Health Network, Lehigh Valley Health Network, Main Line Health, Penn Medicine, Penn State Health, and Grand View Health.

AblePay is also collaborating with Independence Blue Cross to help its members with paying out-of-pocket medical expenses, giving providers the security of knowing they won't have to wait months or years to collect on the patient’s responsibility.

AblePay takes on the burden of patient collection and assumes all risks of payment. As a result, medical providers can expect prompt payment in 14 days, with absolutely no recourse. In addition, the program provides easy integration, and all patients are automatically accepted.

HAPevolve identifies and creates valuable partnerships with various businesses serving the health care community. By negotiating with its industry and endorsed partners on behalf of the Pennsylvania hospital and health care community at large, HAPevolve can offer members special benefits and discounts on innovative solutions that can save them both time and money.
